WEVA is the first professional, national association for wedding and event venue owners, operators and managers.
This group is for you if you own a venue, manage a venue, work at a venue, or are in the process of opening a venue.
Join to get your questions answered, learn about how to run and manage your business better, attend some events, and make likeminded friends along the way, all while leveling up your business!

To become a part of WEVA you need to be a wedding or event venue owner, operator, or manager… or currently active in a VENUE role. More specifically… a Venue Manager, Venue Sales Manager, Venue Coordinator etc employed directly by a venue. We also allow those who are starting venues to join.
If you’re a vendor providing services to venues (like photography, wedding planning, hiring/recruiting, web design, insurance, legal, tax, etc), a coach, consultant, or a company selling anything to venues, you aren’t the right fit for regular membership BUT we invite you to apply to be an educator or sponsor our association.
As for other restrictions…once you’re a member we have confidentiality and strict no-jerk, no-spam, no-dishonesty policies that are enforced.

Applying to join WEVA is very straightforward. If you own or operate a wedding venue, (or are in the process of opining a venue) simply click "Join Now" to start your membership journey.
Referrals are welcome; please let us know who referred you so we can thank them! We occasionally review applications to maintain our community's integrity and reserve the right to deny membership after review. We look forward to welcoming you to WEVA!

At WEVA we’re all about connecting our national network of owners, operators, managers, and venue professionals. Our aim is to foster an environment where every member can learn, flourish, and grow their businesses and careers. With that spirit, there are only two rules to membership.
First, we have a “no-jerk” policy to ensure our community remains a positive and supportive space for everyone.
Second, no “spam” or self promotion either from members or educators in the webinars and educational sessions. We don’t allow deceptive and dishonest business practices in the community.

Your membership starts the day you join, and renews monthly or yearly on that same day of the following month, depending on the type of membership you purchased.

Absolutely!** Work-related education costs are fully deductible when they add value to your business and increase your expertise! Often, if you are employed, self-paid education expenses are tax deductible. Your employer can also pay up to $5,250 per year for you in professional development without it counting as income!** Tax deductible career education?? Yes please!

Our story + Our Why
We saw a huge gap in the multi-billion dollar venue industry for wedding and events.
Every industry needs a community, networking, associations, and most importantly, education around the evolving best practices and standards in the industry. When we began this project, there were currently no professional national associations that support the growth and development of the venue industry in the United States. We created WEVA to change that.
If you have spent any amount of time in the venue space or spent time researching resources for venue owners and operators, you know its slim pickings.
And the crazy part is every other part of the events industry has associations, annual events, communities, dedicated groups, local, regional, national, and even global networks. Look at catering, meeting and wedding and event planners, DJ’s, florists. All have such support! Look at portions of our industry including hotels, restaurants, AirBnBs, farms/ranches….again, there is representation for these types of businesses, but nothing for the independent venue owner/operator.
We are tired of being forced to fit into other industries boxes. It’s time we had our own thing.
WEVA is that thing.
